Q: Do you use photoshop to edit image?

A: I’ve adopted a retouch if necessary mindset.Due to this, I focus on creating beautiful images inside of the camera rather than in post production. That said, blemishes and light photoshop work is used whenever necessary. All of my photos are color corrected and light balanced in Lightroom.

Q: Are you willing to travel?

A: Residing in Brooksville, FL. I consider myself local to all of central Florida, which means no travel fees for the surrounding area.I love to travel, if you love my work but want to travel outside of my local area or are out of state I would be happy to discuss travel fees for your destination wedding.

Q: How do work with someone who isn’t comfortable in front of the camera?

A: Most people aren’t their most comfortable selves in front of a camera, I take time to get to know my clients so that we have a trusting relationship with one another. Engagement shoots are a perfect opportunity to work together and get to know one another on a personal level, which is why I include a complimentary engagement shoot with each wedding booked. I like to keep things relaxed and fun, not focusing on the camera but reminding you to have fun and focus more on interacting with your partner.

Q: Do you hire a 2nd shooter?

A: I hire a 2nd shooter for most weddings booked with me. This allows us to focus on the quality of work that we do instead of rushing, trying to keep up with the busy schedule of wedding day and also allows us to capture the same moment through multiple perspectives. I also hire a 3rd assistant at times.

Q: What kind of cameras do you use?

A: I shoot hybrid which means I shoot both film and digital photography cameras. I believe in using the best of the best, so I shoot with the highly sought after Contax 645 medium format film camera, Canon 35mm film camera, as well as a Canon 5d mark III digital camera. I use all of the best lenses as well.

Q: How many images will I receive for my wedding?

A: I believe in quality of quantity, slowing down to be sure that we are getting the right photos that will tell the story of you and your wedding day in the best way possible. 60-80 images per hour booked is what should be expected.

Q: How do I book?

A:  Firstly, get in touch with me to see if your date is available, once we have figured out that you want me to capture your wedding day I will take a retainer fee of 30% to save the date which is due with the contract. No dates will be held without a signed contract and paid retainer fee.

Q: How long does it take to receive our wedding photos?

A:  5 weeks for wedding galleries and 3 weeks for portrait galleries.
